MoSo Makes Waves

MoSo Makes Waves Cover Image

June 16-18, over 4000 makers and cultural trendsetters from around the world gather in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to discover the future of music, creativity and innovation.

Now in our sixth year, MoSo 2016 aims to bring Saskatoon an event unlike anything experienced in Canada. And, we are making some changes:

New Theme

Six years ago the topics of mobile and social media were cutting edge. But, times have changed and where we once focused on learning the tools (ex. How to use Facebook), the skills needed to succeed at sharing your story have greatly expanded (ex. How to create killer content for all your social channels).

MoSo is now about the convergence of creativity.

It’s the place where the marketer can meet the indie game designer. It’s the place where the beat producer meets the next indie music promoter. It’s the place where the hardware hacker can meet the business leader who can take the product to market. It’s a mashup of business professionals, marketers, communicators, designers, musicians, writers, artists, developers and other creatives to share/appreciate ideas and learn from one another.

You’ll learn what’s coming next in the worlds of innovation and technology, music and art, and content, marketing, and design and more.

New Format

MoSo presents an event outside of the confines of a traditional conference or music festival. It’s one part music/art performances and one part inspiring/innovative talks on technology, business and more. It’s unique programming that encourages attendees to sample many areas of interest. It will be a more condensed and high impact schedule.

Thank You For Your Support

To bring MoSo to life, we rely on the input from hundreds of dedicated volunteers, local community groups, speakers from and indie musicians from around the world; and dedicated sponsors and supporters. Thousands of people have helped elevate MoSo to the event it is today.

The result: New projects are launched. Companies are built. Songs are written. Music is discovered. Code is pushed. Beer is consumed. Food is eaten. We leave inspired. But most of friendships are formed which last for years to come.

And not to turn this into a sales pitch, but buy your passes today.  The first 150 Keynote Day purchasers receive a complimentary pass to Buffy Sainte-Marie. Early Bird offer ends April 4.

Stay tuned for some amazing surprises.
